CLAT Registration 2026

The CLAT 2026 registration process is expected to begin in July 2025 on the official website – https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Candidates must have the following documents ready:

  • Recent passport-size photograph

  • Signature (scanned copy)

  • Class 10th and 12th mark sheets

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

  • Domicile certificate (if applicable)

The CLAT 2026 application fee is expected to be:

  • ₹4,000 for General/OBC/NRI/PWD candidates

  • ₹3,500 for SC/ST/BPL candidates

Yes, the Consortium of NLUs usually provides an application correction window after registration closes. You can edit certain details, but uploaded documents and category fields may not be editable.

CLAT Syllabus 2026

The CLAT UG syllabus includes the following sections:

  • English Language

  • Current Affairs (including General Knowledge)

  • Legal Reasoning

  • Logical Reasoning

  • Quantitative Techniques

No major changes have been announced yet. The CLAT 2026 syllabus will likely follow the same pattern as CLAT 2025, focusing on comprehension-based and reasoning-oriented questions.

Focus on reading comprehension, current affairs, and reasoning practice. Read newspapers daily, solve previous year papers, and take mock tests regularly to strengthen accuracy and speed.

CLAT Exam 2026

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) for admission to Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) law programs across India.

The CLAT UG 2026 exam will be a 2-hour offline (pen-paper) test consisting of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question carries 1 mark, and 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.

To be eligible for CLAT UG 2026, candidates must have:

  • Completed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board.

  • Secured at least 45% marks (General/OBC) or 40% marks (SC/ST) in the qualifying exam.

  • No upper age limit for appearing in CLAT.

CLAT Result 2026

The CLAT 2026 result is expected to be released in January 2026, a few weeks after the exam, on the official website – https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

You can check your result by visiting the official CLAT website and logging in using your registered mobile number and password. The scorecard will display your overall score, section-wise marks, and All India Rank (AIR).

No, the CLAT 2026 scorecard will not be sent by post. It can only be downloaded online from the official website using your login credentials.

After the result, candidates must participate in the counselling process conducted by the Consortium of NLUs for seat allotment based on their rank, preference, and category.
